Most Broadcasters, when faced with true reality, will admit they are struggling with relevance. We have heard over and over again how news is available to us 24/7 so the days of watching at 5, 6 and 10 may be rapidly going away. It’s no longer an issue of “relevance retention.” It has moved on to “regaining relevance.” Is that possible? How?

I had the opportunity to discuss this with Fred von Graf recently and thought you might be interested in that interview. “Regaining Relevance” is definitely possible but it will take major change. Give a listen. You can post comments below, on his site and/or come on over to mine. Can't wait to read your thoughts!

(BTW, Fred is a great interviewer (more like a conversation than an interview) and that comes from his experience in helping companies succeed using technologies and outside resources. He knows everybody and brings in the best to serve each company’s individual needs. To determine those needs you have to ask great questions and make sure the person being interviewed is comfortable. I highly recommend him! Fred is also in the process of organizing another SMAZ (Social Media AZ) and I encourage all of you to attend. If you’re on LinkedIn join his group for further updates.)
